On Friday June 9th I had the opportunity to attend the Summer Artisan Home Tour from June 9 – 25, 2023. I only viewed 3 homes #11 construction2style, #6 Gordon James, and #2 Harrison Custom Builders, LLC due to the amount of detail and sensory overload. The one thing all 3 homes had in common was paint trends. They were all smoking hot and participating in the “quiet luxury” with paint.
What is “quiet luxury”? Marked by expensive materials in muted tones, quiet luxury, also known as stealth wealth, is "the complete lack of logos and anything too conspicuous," said Thomaï Serdari, professor of marketing and director of the Fashion and Luxury program at NYU's Stern School of Business. The same holds true with paint. You don’t want to broadcast that you used Benjamin Moore Simply White everywhere for the walls and the trim (baseboard & casing). You want the client, consumer, or participating party to be wowed with the space.

I love doing something fun and unforgettable for the powder bath. I usually do a high-gloss sheen because it brings the drama & wow factor you want in that little space.
